The Talton Metal Building Addition at the Volusia County Fairgrounds was completed on time and in budget. Our site superintendent Matt Hall did a fantastic job of managing the project!
We also completed the Deltona High School Cafeteria/Kitchen Modifications & Upgrades project. Site superintendent Robin Fredrick kept this project on track and managed the Soil Stabilization project at the school site. The NSB Bus Lift Replacement Project for the Volusia County School Board was also overseen by Robin, which was completed on time and in budget. Great work Robin!
Hall Construction is now moving forward with the Holly Hill WTP Lab Refurbishment & Sludge Building Overhead Door Project. We are organizing the subcontractors needed and getting our schedules prepared to start this project.
Seth Carlton our Residential Manager continues to oversee our residential work. Working to finish the John Anderson Custom Riverfront Home and another riverfront home on South Palmetto Avenue, which are moving along nicely. The Babe James Community Center Expansion is also in full gear. Our site superintendent Steve Wood is doing an exceptional job of keeping this project on track. We would like to thank Architect Gerard Pendergast, Michelle Updike, Capital Projects Manager & Khalid Resheidat, Assistant City Manager, of the City of New Smyrna Beach for their great support and efforts in assisting us in keeping this project moving forward.
Our project at the Museum of Arts & Science in Daytona Beach is continuing with site superintendent Dave Strom at the helm. Dave has continued to amaze us with his steadfast resolve to keep this project on track. Also, his adaption to the technological side of our project management system has been amazing. With iPhone & iPad in hand, Dave has made the transition to utilizing new technology to enhance the management of construction projects.
Our Office Staff, consisting of Lance Hall, Dennis Hall, Sharon Gogol and Burt May are working together, with new construction project management technologies that have been developed in the past few years. The digital cloud-based construction project management world is here. We have embraced it and are beginning to take advantage of this technology. We continue to pursue the latest techniques and processes to improve our performance in every aspect of our operations.
